What is Connections?

The transition to college can be tough!  We helped prepare you during the summer with Academic Orientation and Frog Camp, and we won’t leave you hanging once the semester starts!  Connections is a once a week experience that helps you get your feet on the ground and be successful – both inside the classroom and out!

On Thursday, August 20, 2009 at 8 p.m., your Connections experience will begin!  You will meet your small group and Connections Mentors for Playfair – an experience like no other!

Once classes begin, your Connections Mentors and faculty/staff partner will meet with you and the rest of your small group from 5-6 p.m. every Thursday.  During your time together, you’ll learn about campus resources, develop skills and explore your goals and values.  You’ll also make great friends and find your place in the Horned Frog family.  Connections will provide a fun, worthwhile and unforgettable experience through great discussion topics and participation in service projects and social events.
